This is a particularly detailed painting with lovely rich colours on the roof tiles and brickwork, varied buildings with fabulous wet into wet colours, giving a sense of a real working farm, the old cart creates a lovely area of mystery in the shadow of the barn, contrasting with the sunshine in the foreground.

The chickens add life to the painting, all against a backdrop of Terry's subtle winter trees. Such a lovely painting.
