This painting was a favourite subject of Terry's, lovely autumn foliage, glorious light, featuring a track, including puddles and lovely shadows in the foreground. It has all of the elements he loved painting. 
The colours in this painting are rich and sumptuous, with a depth that the photo is unable to capture fully.
