Terry loved finding an old boat yard, or better still, a boat such as this being restored in a small inlet. He loved the shapes of the hull and thought of them as 'works of art' in their own right. This is a lovely example of Terry's skill with perspective, all the action is in the lower half of the painting, with the mast towering above the viewer.
A lovely painting.
