Watercolours

I enjoy using vibrant watercolours and allowing the natural pigments to react on the paper giving luminous results. I am particularly interested in strong contrasts, and the effect of light on my subjects, there is something very appealing about using this wonderful medium and building up layers of transparent washes. The paintings in this section are all using pure watercolour techniques.
