The colours used in this lovely painting are sumptuous and rich, subtle blues and Autumn Gold, a combination Terry loved to use. There is a subtle use of warmer colours in the barn, some surprisingly vibrant adding to the warmth of this painting.
The snow appears to be a fresh fall, covering the trees and fence posts.
