Highly detailed this lovely painting is one of Terry’s early ones which glows with an ethereal light. There is a wonderful feeling of light on the frozen lake reflecting the sun just setting behind the trees. The sky almost luminous with light glazed with layers of subtle colours. There is a small detail which may not at first be noticed, that of a Robin sitting on a branch waiting for the crumbs. A lovely painting.
