This painting includes some wonderful wet into wet techniques creating this soft sky and background as well as the textural effects on the bridge and rocks, contrasting with his simplicity of strokes to achieve the effect of cascading water. One stroke too many and the water would have been 'over done' Terry was a master of knowing exactly when to stop.
