This is an unusual subject for Terry making it rather special. 
The colour range is limited to enhance the drama of the scene of the sailing boat in full sail, heading for harbour while the weather holds and the winds remain fair.

The lovely wet into wet sky contrasts with the layers of colour needed to build up the choppy waves and depth of colour in the sea. Notice too the warm light of the sun on the sails.
