This is such a lovely painting of a coastal view with cliffs and beaches heading towards the distance, a wave crashing against rocks and onto a sandy beach creates a dramatic foreground and is a great example of how Terry used the minimum of details yet was still able to create a wonderful atmosphere.
Terry was able to suggest so much light, depth and movement in such a concise way.
This painting features in Terry's book 'Terry's Top Tips for Watercolour Artists'
