This is the follow up to the hugely successful 'Brush with Acrylics' with even more effects, more techniques and more beautiful paintings!  The book begins with a thorough guide to choosing your equipment, including paints, mediums, additives and surfaces as well as the little things like pencils and masking tape. This section also looks at colour choices and mixing.

In the second section, Terry explains in detail how to use his range of brushes. The Wizard, with its two hair lengths, makes short work of grasses, reflections and foliage while the Fan Gogh is handy for clouds and the Half Rigger makes detail work much easier than its full length cousin. 

He demonstrates a variety of techniques for painting trees, reflections, snow as well as looking at ways to create the effect of distance, introducing life such as birds, animals and figures and to handle texture mediums and glazing.

The book concludes with a series of six step-by-step demonstrations covering winter and summer landscapes and a coastal scene as well as flowers, buildings and even a Venetian setting.
