This is one of my favourite subjects, allotments in snow. I am particularly drawn to the limited colours and strong tonal contrasts created when the sun is low in the sky and the shadows are long. 
There is a beautiful, still atmosphere with hardly a sound save for the occasional blackbird plinking (the blackbird is well camouflaged) I hope this feeling is conveyed in my painting.
