Morning Snowfall 12 X 16 inches Watercolour on Watercolour Paper
The old trees are a wonderful feature in this painting, the textures of which are captured so well, with tiny fine frost like traces all over the foliage. Terry's line drawing can be seen in places, noticeably the canal footpath on the near side, and the curve of the bridge. He was a brilliant draftsman, and with the fewest of lines could convey so much.
This beautiful painting features as a double page spread in Terry's book "Painting Watercolour Snow Scenes"
