This is very much a typical 'Terry Harrison' subject, featuring this sunlit gate opening towards a distant view of countryside. He even manages some reflections in the puddles as well as his favourite poppies, such a 'Terry trade mark'
The distant view is kept fairly simple contrasting with the lovely foliage and details of the foreground make this a special painting.
